World Message of Peace

Christmas Newsletter 2016

Happy Christmas celebrations at Tea at Tympani Lane Records 2016. There are some wonderful flowers at Atwater Market, I have a red candy striped Amaryllis and am looking forward to some willow branches and red roses. Dollarama has some festive desserts this year as the marriage of mass production and art has provided some huge metallic Christmas ornaments for inexpensive. I bought 3 golden swirling balls and hung them down from the top of the window.

It has been a very happy and productive year at Tea at Tympani Lane Records. In the fall we moved offices back to Westmount and being downtown are now close to everything again. Big happy.

I have been giving Spoken Word readings, in April 2016 at League of Canadian Poet’s Fundraiser. And in the Summer, a Reading Series in the Joliette Metro, people would come by and talk to The Oracle and my books were on sale. In September I attended the 100 Thousand Poets 4 Change Montreal, hosted by Betty Esperanza and friends. For the first time infringement Festival Montreal was held in November and I performed Spoken Word to a packed house on the first night open mic, then on Wednesday, Passengers/Passagers. I also attended the first ever infringement Festival Montreal Conference and I wrote Reviews for all events I attended.

I have been busy with WebSite Development work, writing Book Reviews, Editing and Publishing Books of Poetry and publishing Subterranean Blue Poetry Online Journal. As well as being Tea at Tympani Lane Records (www.tympanilanerecords.com), I am The Book Reviewer (www.thebookreviewer.ca) and Subterranean Blue Poetry (www.subterraneanbluepoetry.com).

I have a number of books available as paperbacks, The Winter Tree, Tango Blue Arias, Harlequins and Angels, Tale Winds, On Watching Snow Falling, Subterranean Blue Poetry: Volume III, and The Children of Orpheus as well as a number of EBooks on Amazon Stations. There are more than 27 books of poetry, a primer on discernment in marriage, a book of family recipes, a book of children’s stories and a book of World Peace Newsletters. I am currently working on publishing The Dinner Party and other short stories, and have 6 books of poetry writing including Candy and Anarchy, The Color of Pomegranates, La Republique de Bleu/The Republic of Blue, Passengers, Letters from Winter, and Sleeper. Most of the next poetry books will be written in both French and English.

I am planning a Contest/Anthology for the New Year titled: Somewhere My Love, with the theme of love and peace and war, love in war zones. The violence of lost loved ones, displacement/immigration, the horrors of war, race relations, violent events, juxtaposed with the sweetness of a happy love life, peaceful existence, the homeland, flowers and found objects, bread and poetry. I hope to raise monies over Patreon to pay Poets for their contributions to this Anthology.

The Rescue Cat, Tango Blue Arias is settling in at the new apartment and coming out of hiding more in the mornings and in the evening, often luxuriating on the futon. He has also been eating treats from my hand. Hopefully, he will come over and let me pet him one day. I am hoping to get him a girl companion cat, so he will not be lonely. All the news this Christmas.

Joyeux Noel!
