World Message of Peace

It is a quiet Summer Evening at Tea at Tympani Lane Records, the beautiful peonies have been in at the Market since May. I am working on the editing of Dear Oprah for Michael Ellis and a Chapbook, The She: An Expose for Melanie Flores. Adrian Ernesto Cepeda has requested a Book Review for his new book of poetry Between the Spine and Emily Bilman has requested a series of Book Reviews to include A Woman By A Well, Resilience and The Threshold of Broken Waters @ Subterranean Blue Poetry. Poetry is writing . . .

“If you can’t imagine it, it can’t exist.”

“If you need something you get it.”

If you can imagine the perfect world it can exist. The biggest barrier to Positive Social Change is ingrained attitudes about the social condition. It is as if the entire society measures success by monies, people without monies often are not respected properly, when in my opinion people have intrinsic value not related to how much monies is in their bank account. There are certain preconceived ideas about how society operates that keep the wheel from moving, preventing positive social change.

The Protestant Work Ethic – you have to work hard to get what you need.

Poverty is a sin.

People who are mental patients/alcoholics/drug addicts don’t deserve love or respect.

Immigrants take our jobs.

People on welfare are living on monies from worker’s pay cheques.

People on welfare don’t deserve nice things or don’t deserve a happy longterm lover in covenant or families.

People on welfare are not as worthy as people who are working.

Voluntarism isn’t as worthy as paid work.

There is never enough.

The future will be better.

Discrimination against women, Black people, Jews, Queers, anyone different is acceptable. (It is not).

It is O.K. to be jealous of other’s happiness and hurt them.

Sex and monies buy happiness.

You can buy anyone or anything.

The status quo exists because it is supposed to.

All of these attitudes are from the Old Society, are unhealthy and do not apply to the New Society.

The Protestant Work Ethic is based in the manufacturing economy, it is a slave horse vindicative born of factory work. In the New Economy people are perfectly suited to their work as a calling, there is a Zen to work, work is like play. In Canada, there are quotas for jobs based on attrition so people are streamlined into education that results in a paid position.

Poverty is a sin. Real poverty is poverty of the Spirit and loneliness. It is possible to survive in reduced circumstances, as long as you have friends and family, a solid reputation and are in a state of grace (God knows you) it should be possible to live. In the West survival is made possible by the Social Welfare Economy, even if you are down on your luck, without enough work, it is possible to frequent the Soup Kitchens, Food Banks, Hostels and Charities so you have enough food.

People who are mental patients/alcoholics/drug addicts don’t deserve love and respect. As if these very emotionally wounded people are not deserving of friendship or even love because they are stigmatized. Often these people are down on their luck, without enough work, living in poverty. Having a happy longterm love life should not be determined by how much monies is in your bank account or if you have work or not.

Immigrants take our jobs. Everyone has a calling for work, it is important to discern your job with your talents and an aptitude test, have education and/or an internship and an actual job after you graduate school. There is pressure on the economy as the Industrialized Economy morphs into the Online Economy so job descriptions are changing and work is streamlined, taking less time. Be good at what you do, have a good reputation, and network through your contacts and online for work. Be creative, perhaps using the Internet as an entrepreneur and shopping sales flyers, supermarche circulaires, secondhand stores and online. In a real economy as long as you contribute to the Community in some way you should be able to have a longterm marriage and family.

People on welfare are living on monies from worker’s pay cheques. People on welfare have fallen through the cracks. Either they were not streamed properly for their education or could not afford it, they could not find work in the New Computerized Economy, or are too emotionally wounded from broken love lives to work, amongst other reasons. Welfare is a way to ensure food and shelter so they do not become vandals or cause violence. The Western Economy is off the gold standard, which means the amount of monies in circulation is not tied to the amount of gold bars at the Central Bank. This means the monies created are liquid, theoretically the government could give us all monies, perhaps an Indexed Income as long as you were contributing your calling from God for work to the Community, the monies is not tied.

People on welfare don’t deserve nice things or don’t deserve a happy longterm lover in covenant or families. Poverty should not be a sin. If everyone had a happy longterm marriage on a SignfromGod, there would be personal peace and peace in the Community. People on welfare are just down on their luck, and may be suffering from broken love lives, ineffective socialization, lack of mentoring and discernment amongst other things. In the Holy Spirit Way, there is a constant balancing for justice, all good speech and actions are rewarded and all negative speech and actions cause suffering. People on welfare are real people, they have intrinsic value, if everyone had a happy working love life, this would create peace and prosperity. Ideally everyone would contribute their calling from God for work to the Community, even if it is non-paying work, volunteering, picking up garbage for recycling, looking after children under 5 years old, buying and selling over the Internet, creating cultural content on the Internet and more.

People on welfare are not as worthy as people who are working. The idea of worth should not be tied to finances. People have intrinsic value. People who make your day are special regardless of their financial worth.

Voluntarism isn’t as worthy as paid work. The idea of what is real work is relative. If someone is following their calling for work, doing the work well and contributing their time to the Community in a positive way, their contribution is as worthy as someone who is paid for what they do.

There is never enough. Not enough is a relative concept based in broken love lives. Enough is about a personal space of well being based in following your callings from God for work and love. If it is difficult to find work, it is possible to become an entrepreneur in the New Economy on the Internet. It is possible to network and use the Internet to find work, use the flyers on the Internet to find sales on food, Food Banks, Soup Kitchens and Drop Ins. It is possible to find sales and shop the secondhand markets. Stress on employment is caused by the shifting business structure over the Internet, causing bottom lines to be out and unemployment, one day the computerized economy should be online. Employment quotas for jobs based on attrition could help people plan their work education. A society of people happily married in longterm marriages on a SignfromGod, free or inexpensive birth control (people only having 2 children if they are on welfare, adoptions are free), all available green spaces planted with food. The answer to enough is love and better social management.

The future will be better. There is nothing more bright than the Zen of right now. This also has to do with having love, having enough and being at peace with the Holy Spirit. Peace is right now.

Discrimination against women, Black people, Jews, Queers, anyone different is acceptable. Not. Being mean to people hurts them. People were not put on this earth to suffer. If you are upset, worried about losing your wife, your car, your job, your life, do release work, physical exercise and deep breathing, journaling, prayer, meditation, an arts calling, work, take a walk. Channel your angst into something positive that does not hurt anyone. What you say and do to innocents will become magnified and come back to you karmically.

It is O.K. to be jealous of other’s happiness and hurt them. Everyone has talents and special features to be proud of. It is not O.K. to be mean or hurt other people because you perceive them as being superior or happy. You do not know where this person has been or what they have suffered. You can always learn from other people. If you are unhappy it is good to look at what will make you feel better and achieve wholeness through prayer, good works, humility, release work, finding a calling for work/the arts, marrying your Starcrossed or more suited lover, working out your emotional problems in therapy, giving to others. Often because people's love lives are unhappy, they do not have that perfect love partner at home, their starcrossed or more suited lover on a positive SignfromGod, they are more upset with others they perceive as "better" than themselves or people they perceive as having a better time and may be more likely to cause violence.

Sex and monies buy happiness. Sex according to the Holy Spirit is supposed to be in covenant for longterm on a positive SignfromGod in karmic purity. It is a yin/yang compatibility with someone special of the opposite sex. Money buys comfort, true happiness is being in line with the Holy Spirit, following your calling for work, following your calling for love and not hurting innocents.

You can buy anyone or anything. People with a lot of monies and big egos may expect to be able to have whatever they want, that people can be bought. The truth is that if you go against the Spirit of Good, the Community of Saints, and/or the Holy Spirit paradigm, you suffer.

The status quo exists because it is supposed to. The monied elite may support an abusive system because it made them monies. The truth is the world changes, the economy has morphed into the Computerized Economy which brought changes in the shape of business structures, unemployment and a change in job structures, rotating short-term work that may not be stable, with times on welfare (which may destabilize families) and fluctuating bottom lines. Love and money are equated karmically, my theory is that if everyone’s love life is happy in longterm covenant on a Sign from God, the economy will come in. Happy marriages radiate prosperity and enough.

It is these persistent prejudiced attitudes about others that also affects public policy. Enlightening people and good mental health, understanding that trespass is a sin, knowing where you begin and others end, is a gift that can only be achieved through interaction with the Holy Spirit and Enlightened People. It is possible to learn something from everyone. If a policy is in line with the Holy Spirit, it will create peace and prosperity. Any policy that hurts innocents is karmic dissonance, which is a violence that will set up a paradigm shift for justice and eventually peace. Ideally the society and all social policies should be in line with the Holy Spirit so there is no violence.

Sam Tsembris, a psychologist, CEO and founder of Pathways to Housing in Washington D.C. has greatly decreased chronic homelessness. He said, “Give homes for the homeless”* and counselling and the number of street people will be greatly reduced. So the government gave Mr. Tsembris $500,000 and he invested it in housing and counseling for street people. The retention rate was 85%, the most successful campaign to get people off the streets, inspiring similar programs across the country. The idea of prejudice against the homeless, "you are worthless because you do not have any monies," because we are jealous of your lack of responsibility and all the free time you have. Because we do not understand your suffering because our love lives and work lives worked out. All these preconceived ideas were thrown out the window and the homeless were simply given a home and some counseling. This flies against the Protestant work ethic and is a brave new world.

The New Society could be a non-violent, happy world of enough. People married to their Starcrossed or more suited lover in happy longterm covenant. With free or inexpensive birth control, two children unless you have unlimited resources and a calling to have more children, adoptions are free. Everyone following their calling for work, and everyone contributing to the Community in some way with people not hurting each other. The economy being off the gold standard, theoretically could shape society so that everything is free or inexpensive. Free or inexpensive birth control, free or inexpensive WiFi, free or inexpensive healthcare, free or inexpensive education for work, free or inexpensive child care, a regulated housing market. Stress on food resources could be relieved by planting all available green spaces with food and hydroponics in basements and rooftops. This society of love, good mental health, peace and enough in the Spirit of the Holy Spirit could ensure a dance with life as God intended. The Way of Peace.

Love,

Rebecca
