The secret to happiness was revealed in Red Book magazine as, do something you love once a day, do something you are good at once a day and have an in-depth conversation with someone you love once a day. Having good nutrition, regular exercise (walking, yoga, meditation etc.) keeps the body and mind healthy. It also helps to be on the right side of God, all God asks of us is that we do not hurt others or ourselves, following the ways of Spiritual Mystery and cultural principal and by being in line with the Holy Spirit you should be in line with the Community. This will also give you positive karma leading to positive affect. Prayer and being in dialogue with the Spirit helps with emotional equilibrium and well being. Also, it helps to have a happy longterm in covenant love relationship, or at least an affair of the heart, love makes the world go ‘round. And being appreciative of all positive people, things, and conditions that exist in your life, saying thank-you and keeping a thank-you journal. Then you can look at this list and feel better.
When you get up in the morning and have that first cup of cappucino that sets the day up straight, being in a good mood where you are not depressed but feeling positive (positive affect) you have won. As if God and the universe are shining on you.
The Way of Peace,
Happy New Year!
